ABOUT US
Love Care Foundation is a non-profit organization in India, registered under the Societies’ Registration Act of 1860. Set up in 2010, the organization is consistently working for the economically and socially backward section of society. LCF ensures to enhance their quality of life by providing the education for livelihood in the long-run to bring a positive change in their lives as a whole. It recently was honoured with Harvard World Record, London for serving more than 7 lakh meals in the first two months of covid-19. Organization got recognition from many other about relief efforts work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Love Care Foundations Programs are focused on Education (Formal and non-Formal),Health (health check camps and awareness sessions) Vocational Training( Computer, Tailoring, Mobile Repairs & Cooking etc) Women empowerment (Handcraft items, Adult education, Advocacy and Awareness on rights and policies) Disaster Management (Flood, earthquake, Covid-19) and Environment( Plantation drives, Say no to Plastic, Environmental Summit)
OUR JOURNEY SO FAR...
Love Care Foundation started its journey with first open centre for children of rag pickers at Kotla village in Mayur Vihar has now spread its wings in 13 states
WHAT AND HOW WE DO
Love Care Foundation works with the objective of realizing holistic development of – economically & socially challenged – children through deployment of meaningful development programmes designed to give them wings to make a space for themselves in the mainstream of the society. The various programmes & initiatives are aimed with emphasis to groom them for their development as independent human beings by making them aware of their rights and duties.
Besides being imparted with basic primary education, good moral values are inculcated and children are taught to live with dignity and self respect. They are also sensitized about their individual responsibilities towards the society, so that tomorrow when they enter into adulthood, they do so with their best foot forward and resultantly turn out to be an inspiring epitome of success, happiness and self reliance, worth emulating by one & all in their social order.
