Malnutrition

Malnutrition is one of the primary considerations in India as one third of the world’s malnourished children live in India. Love Care Foundation has fixated this issue and is rendering voluntary services in the field of prevention, enlightenment and treatment. LCF conducts regular health camps for screening children and women in the slums and furnishes them with requisite medicines. Proper counseling and inference is given to them about the right kind of nutrition they call for a healthy diet. Nutrient based affix are distributed to the children in the slums. Malnutrition in children is not stirred by food intake alone. It is also influenced by access to health services, quality of care for the child and pregnant mother as well as good hygiene practices.
