At Love Care Foundation (LCF) non-formal education (NFE) is at the heart of our mission to uplift children from economically and socially challenged backgrounds. We recognize that thousands of children living in slums, on the streets and at construction sites are unable to access or continue in formal schools. For them, NFE acts as a bridge—opening doors to learning, confidence and opportunities for a brighter future.
Our NFE programs are designed for children aged 3 to 14 years, with a strong focus on:

LCF ensures that learning is engaging, interactive and practical. With the use of illustrations, models and multimedia tools, children are introduced to concepts of hygiene, health, social behavior and self-awareness alongside academics.
Our trained teachers and facilitators not only deliver education but also act as mentors, instilling confidence and values in every child. The approach ensures that many children who were once excluded from the schooling system are gradually mainstreamed into formal schools.
LCF’s NFE centers are located in slum communities, semi-rural areas, and construction sites, ensuring we reach children directly in their own environment. By bringing education to where children live, we eliminate barriers such as distance, affordability, and lack of awareness.
For India’s sustainable progress, it is vital that every child is given the right to learn, grow and dream. Through non-formal education, Love Care Foundation is not only teaching children but also shaping the nation’s future.
