Non Formal Education
Love Care Foundation was launched aiming to provide value based quality and education oriented program to the children of below poverty level living in the slums or on the streets. LCF emphasizes to reach for the quarter of a million of Delhi’s children being deprived to education in schools. Children in the age group of 3 to 14 are taught through non-formal education entailing early intervention programs and improvement of mathematical and linguistic skills at LCF. Love Care Foundation focuses on the pitches like various art and craft activities by providing books and other creative material to the underprivileged children. The teachers at LCF are professionally trained and committed to the cause of delivering a positive change in the lives of BPL children and youths.
Love Care foundation believes to support functional literacy and education programs for the youth and young adults along with the whole family. The adolescent girls at LCF are benefitted by bringing them awareness on piles of issues ranging from healthcare to appropriate social behavior in getting an insight of one’s rights. With the help of illustrations, models and multimedia tools we teach the children the basic personal hygiene by functioning on topics like analytical skills, personality development etc. These programs are enforced in vulnerable locations particularly like slum communities, construction sites and semi-rural areas.
For an emerging and developing country like India, development of underprivileged children and youth holds the key to the progress of the nation itself.
